Mimbres fish

Joseph Lonewolf, The Big One.

Joseph calls this spectacular story pot “The Big One”—one that obviously got away. Mimbres style fish decorate the base where Joseph also engraved a wild aster to honor his mother and a sunflower to honor his father, Camilio “Sunflower” Lonewolf. The stopper portion is wood with a pottery top and finial. Completed and blessed in 2005. This piece was exhibited in the Governor's Gallery, State Capitol, Santa Fe, in honor of Joseph's Award for Excellence in the Arts.
