| Marvin and his wife Frances create some of the finest pottery at San Ildefonso today. Marvin was taught by Maria and by Adam and Santana as a child, and has worked hard to perfect his potting, painting and firing. His wife Frances does the forming and polishing, as has been the way in the Martinez family, and Marvin paints the traditional family designs. Both sign the pieces. |
